Submit Your Home
Shiloh Home has always been about how real people create spaces they love. From the very beginning, I’ve been drawn to the way a linen throw drapes over a worn armchair, how art hung without fuss can change a room’s mood, how a rental kitchen can feel like home with just a few well-chosen objects. Now, as the blog has grown into a place for home tours and interior stories, I want to hear from you.
Whether you’ve spent years curating a countryside retreat or you’ve made a studio apartment your sanctuary, your home has a story. I’m looking for spaces that feel lived-in, layered, and personal — not staged perfection. I’m especially interested in homes where textiles, art, and everyday objects play a starring role. You don’t need to be a designer or have a Pinterest-ready home. If your space reflects who you are, I’d love to see it.
What I’m looking for
- Apartments and houses of any size, from city studios to rural farmhouses.
- Rental homes — I love seeing how people make temporary spaces their own.
- Homes with a strong sense of texture: vintage rugs, linen curtains, ceramic collections, art hung casually.
- Spaces that tell a story: family heirlooms, travel finds, DIY projects, or a particular colour palette you’ve fallen for.
- Real homes, not showrooms. Imperfections welcome.
What the feature includes
- A visit (in person or via video call) where I’ll take photographs and chat with you about your space.
- A written story on the blog, weaving together your decorating choices, the history of certain pieces, and how the home feels to live in.
- Optional: a few styling tips inspired by your space, or links to similar items for readers who want to recreate a look.
How to submit
Send an email to [email protected] with the subject line “Home Submission”.
- Include 3–5 photos of your space (phone snaps are fine — no professional photography needed).
- Tell me a little about your home: where it is, how long you’ve lived there, what makes it special to you.
- Mention any particular objects, textiles, or art pieces that you feel define the space.
I read every submission and will respond within two weeks if I think your home is a good fit for the blog. If I don’t reply right away, please don’t be discouraged — sometimes I keep submissions on file for future features.
Looking forward to seeing how you live,
— Clara Whitfield
P.S. I still have a soft spot for a good linen throw, so if one happens to live on your sofa, you’re already speaking my language.
