Contact Us — Shiloh Home

I’m glad you’re here. Whether you’ve been reading Shiloh Home for years or just stumbled onto a home tour this morning, I’d love to hear from you.

This site started with a simple question — how do beautiful things actually live in a room? — and it’s grown into something I couldn’t have mapped out in advance. Readers have sent me photos of their apartments mid-renovation, asked for help placing art in awkward hallways, and shared stories about the first home they ever loved. That’s the part of this work I value most: the conversation that happens after something gets published.

Ways to reach me

My name is Clara Whitfield. I read every message that comes through, though I can’t always respond as quickly as I’d like — especially when I’m out shooting a home tour or buried in a styling project. I do my best.

Here’s who should get in touch, and how:

  • For home tour submissions: If you live in a space you’re proud of — a rental you’ve transformed, a small apartment that works hard, a house layered with textiles and art — I’d love to see it. Send a few photos and a short note about what makes it feel like home. I’m especially drawn to spaces that feel personal rather than polished.
  • For collaborations and press inquiries: I work selectively with brands, artists, and real estate professionals whose work aligns with what Shiloh Home covers. If that sounds like you, reach out with specifics — not a pitch deck, just an honest idea.
  • For reader questions: Stuck on where to hang that print? Wondering how to layer rugs without it feeling chaotic? Trying to decorate a rental without losing your deposit? Send your dilemma. I answer reader questions in occasional columns, and even when I can’t reply directly, your question might shape a future piece.
  • For corrections, thoughts, or just to say hello: All welcome. Some of the best conversations I’ve had started with a reader pointing out something I missed or sharing a perspective I hadn’t considered.

Email

[email protected]

That’s the direct line. No contact forms, no dropdown menus asking you to categorize yourself. Just a straightforward inbox — the way I’ve always preferred it.

Response time

I typically reply within three to five business days. If you’re writing about something time-sensitive — a property listing, an event, a collaboration with a deadline — please mention that in the subject line so I can prioritize it.

A note before you write

Shiloh Home isn’t a store anymore. If you’re looking for a specific linen throw or art print from the old shop, those days have passed — but I still have strong opinions about textiles and wall art, and I’m happy to point you toward makers and small brands I trust. Just ask.

I don’t accept guest posts or sponsored content that I haven’t initiated. I don’t sell backlinks or offer paid product placements. These aren’t negotiable, so if your email is about one of those things, I’ll politely decline.

Elsewhere

You can also find Shiloh Home on Instagram and Pinterest, where I share glimpses of homes I’m visiting, textiles I’m obsessing over, and the occasional behind-the-scenes look at how a home tour comes together. Those platforms move faster than the blog — if you want the in-between moments, that’s where they live.

Thank you for reading, for caring about the spaces we inhabit, and for wanting to be part of this. I don’t take it lightly.

— Clara
